The Missoula Housing Report
The Missoula Organization of REALTORS® provided its first State of Missoula Housing Report in March of 2006. Because so much of our community interaction involves land use and housing issues, the goal at the time was to provide a central source of factual and accurate information so that everyone participating in the discussions would have at least one set of common facts from which to work.
With input from the members of the Missoula housing market, MOR expanded the project in 2007 to create a report that boasted a collaborative effort. The 2007 State of Missoula Housing Report offered an even broader view of the Housing Market in Missoula's Community, including the rental market. With assistance from city planners, economists, lenders, and non profits, the report earned credibilty.
Thanks, in part, to the feedback from the community and the Housing Report Committee, each year it expands to better analyze what is affecting the housing market in Missoula. The 2008 State of Missoula Housing Report was no different.
The State of Missoula Housing Reports are created to help individuals understand the factual information about what the community is facing. The Missoula Organization of REALTORS® looks forward to what will come in 2009.
