Charitable Giving

REALTORS live, work and take great pride in their communities and working to make them better. And to that end, MOR members generously donate their time, talent and support to a variety of causes and projects throughout the Missoula area. In the summer of 2014, MOR members volunteered to assemble and install equipment at Missoula’s all-abilities playground and MOR added a financial contribution. In 2015, MOR supported the creation of a community garden in the heart of town.

MOR’s non-profit, MOR4Kids, is dedicated to helping school-aged children throughout the community.

MOR4Kids was created in 2011 after members of the Missoula Organization of REALTORS®

(MOR) recognized a growing need in Missoula’s school system. Throughout the Missoula area, children go to school hungry, without supplies, and even without the proper clothing. Since its creation, MOR4Kids has provided over $203,000 in direct contributions to Missoula’s schools. This money goes to the school resource rooms and is intended to cover the gap in funding for food, clothing, and even gas to help parents get their kids to school. Read more about MOR4Kids.

In addition, with the generous donations of MOR members and Missoula community members, MOR4Kids has been able to provide clothing and school supplies and even cooking equipment for a family in need to the resource rooms.  The generous contributions of Missoula’s own Runner’s Edge has provided high quality and almost new gym shoes to kids who never even dreamed of owning their own.

MOR4Kids raises funds through several events, including the Denim and Diamonds charity auction each winter and a golf tournament every summer. MOR4Kids also accepts tax-deductible donations online. Make a donation and buy tickets here for 2018 Denim and Diamonds Charity Auction
